Step 7: You should have the Administrative Tools option on the Start menu. From there, select any of the Active Directory tools. In newer versions of Windows 10, select the Start button then type active directory, and it should show up.

What Is The NTDS Quotas Container In Active Directory HOT!

Unfortunately, what I see on the AD: drive is not what you need to use to actually interact with the drive. This leads to confusion. Therefore, when I attempt to set my location to the iammred container, an error arises. This is shown here.

The "inherit owner" smb.conf parameter instructs smbd to set the owner of files to be the same as the parent directory's owner. Up until now, this parameter could be set to "yes" or "no". A new option, "unix only", enables this feature only for the UNIX owner of the file, not affecting the SID owner in the Windows NT ACL of the file. This can be used to emulate something very similar to folder quotas.

dears,, I have a question, how I can sync the attribute of users in the active directory (such ad mobile, job description, and mobile )with the office365 emails and to make this information appear after any employee click on any of o365 email

Hi Brian, with the New release of AD Connect the attribute msds-consistencyguid is used as source anchor, see this article -us/azure/active-directory/connect/active-directory-aadconnect-design-concepts 2ff7e9595c
